Our Hotel...The Excalibur. When we got in, it was so late that we were upgraded to a suite on the top floor! We were in the tower on the left side of the photo. And here's the view from our room...
Here's a few from the Venetian which was one of my favorite hotels. I loved the architecture. The Bellagio was pretty cool too but we only saw that one from a distance. We had planned to cross the road and catch it on the way back but my poor feet hurt so badly by the time we got to the end of the strip that we took the tram back to the MGM (the closest stop to the Excalibur)!
KS Photography was officially born about 2 years ago but has been in the works for a long time. My husband bought me a Nikon N60 on our honeymoon 10 years ago and I have been hooked ever since. I truly started thinking about it as a business while talking with my brother in law, Brad. It was actually his idea to form the business but I was the one who ran with it. The "KS" in KS Photography is actually the first letters of our last names (Kenny - Shields). And although the studio is located behind my house, we still work together quite a bit on portraits and weddings.
Prior to starting the studio, I went to college at The Ohio State University, met and fell in love with my amazing husband, worked as an adoption paralegal, sold real estate, and created 2 gorgeous munchkins. Which pretty much brings us up to date...my kiddos are starting school and I finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up! I feel so incredibly lucky to be doing what I love!
